Are the covers of the WEBER modular sofa removable?

The covers on the WEBER sofa are not removable. However, we choose very robust fabrics that can also be cleaned. We offer the OLA sofa, for example, with removable covers. However, the "removable" option has rarely been selected since we introduced it. Especially with large, graphically designed sofas, the question arises as to how often we really remove them. If a serious mishap does happen, we recommend the very good service from POS (POS Polsterservice GmbH). The team comes to your home and cleans the sofa at a very fair price and you don't have to do any work at all. The service is pleasant and you are insured, so nothing can go wrong.

What is this impregnation for fabrics?

In general, we only use high-quality and naturally robust fabrics. However, it is always possible to protect them even better. The impregnation is a resin-based stain repellent that has been developed to effectively protect upholstery fabrics on sofas from stains. It does not contain any harsh chemicals and is hypoallergenic.

How does the impregnation work?

The impregnation creates a protective layer around the fibers of your upholstery fabrics, repelling liquids and oils. This reduces susceptibility to stains while preserving the fabric’s natural texture, softness, and colorfastness. However, it’s important to know that impregnation is not a free pass to leave stains or impurities untreated—it simply provides additional protection. If substances come into contact with the upholstery, you should remove them immediately to avoid permanent stains.
